Hmmm.. strong argument. Let's see the nagic he will perform before 2 years.
@ all, Tinubu put a proviso before ending the speach: "unless I give you adequate reason why I couldn't deliver"
Can u guess an adequate reason please. We are itching for that. We ought to hold our leaders able. There's a huge difference between promising and delivery. Anybody can promise. Anybody can give logical reasons why they can't deliver. The problem is ability to act. The coastal high way is great. But if the entire budget had been resourced for electricity, I think we would have gone far. There are several critical projects on electricity which are stalled with no completion in like forever. Is it competence or resources that stalled them? Omoku power plant, Egbema turbine project, etc have been on the pipeline for decades, yet no closure after hundreds of billions of naira are sink in. Why no continuity in governance? The Egbema plant was earmarked to power 5 Eastern states.
While US is pursuing disarmament in Iran, Russia is pursuing nuclear armament in same Iran. World leaders are tottering dangerously to WWW III. May God save us.
YiMU and Stop been delusional.
Is tinubu not part of the master planner that boot out Gej?
Secondly, Who are those Nigerians you are talking about? Do u mean same corrupt Nigerians?
What is the difference between masses and the detected officers?
When maybe u don't know Tinubu is more dangerous than u think...
And besides he understood how to get NIGERIA better. But becus of his greediness and dirty politics, things are happening this way.
In the arena of corruption which has become norms and value in Nigeria, do u expect APC to loose? U should know that Tinubu won't use every channel to rule till 2031.. he is always ahead. Do u ever think he can plant his team in prominent parties like labour party?.
I read of a world drug Lord story yesterday, discovering how he negotiated with government to build his own prison that he will be jail for 10yrs. When u are not financial greedy, u received Favours from anyone..
Well, I was offering a piece of advice, not being emphatic. You are on point as well. But surprises can still arise, like in past elections where he lost in Lagos and Abuja.
Well, the opposition is weakened. Let's see what happens between now and 2027. All might not be soft selling yet. The president should not be lured to sleep by the gale of defections. The masses are not defecting with them. He should concentrate on the masses. GEJ had 22 governors in his kitty in 2014 but still lost.
They were actually convicted by a court. Whether or not they committed the alleged crime was left to the court yo decide. In that case, the President was right to have "pardoned them, posthumously. Only a court can absolve them of the crime.
You have a point. But we all know the kind of courts, especially under Abacha military dictatorship. Since there's nothing like posthumous retrial, the option open to Mr. President was pardon.

Abacha, na God go judge you, Obasanjo self almost kpai in the hands of Abacha
God already judged him. He lost his first son, Ibrahim Abacha , less than a year after in plane crash. He himself lost his life in mysterious circumstances 3 years after, ushered out of power he so much sought to keep, in ignominy.

I can still recall the 'Ogoni nine case'. It made headlines on every tabloid. Ken Saro Wiwa, your legacy still lives on! Now that I think about it, Before Ken Saro Wiwa, there was another activist called Isaac Adaka Boro. I once read a book about him titled: 'The man who died'. I think it was authored by Wole Soyinka. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Adaka Jaspa Boro was a different person from the persona in THE MAN DIED, which is Wole Soyinka's personal prison notes.
Did I see clearly? N500 or dollars? How can all collectively owe a paltry 3m NGN over 10 years? Joke.
Huge joke.
If not a joke which woman has the boldness to say this rubbish? Which marriage woman sleeps in an ex's home and flaunts itâť“
Anyway, these girls grow up on drugs, these days
So, anything is possible.
The woman herself is stupid. The guy is a compound simp. She went to collect gbola. Like cooking the whole night? If it's me, she will be sent packing to her ex or father. Nonsense.
Is Holy Qur’an teachings not against buying ram if you can't afford it? So why subsidise eid ram with LGA funds?
It is understandable if he's using his personal funds but using LGA funds to give N125K subsidy on eid rams for 1,000 rams costing N125 million tax payers seems somehow. N125m is a lot of money o!
I think the government should look at this kind of expenditure now that Supreme Court has ordered the direct release of funds to LGAs.
Is it not the people that got the money? Why do we drink Panadol when there's no headache at all?
No need cursing him. This guy will be killed by hanging.
The curse is very necessary. His death is not enough. If he has children or property, they are cursed.
Teacher looks well fed and happy, seems to love her job. Not in Nigeria here. Poor payment and financial woes turn most of them to raging volcanoes in the class room. You hear of teachers flogging pupils to death. Haba

The bright red colour of the blood indicates that a major artery was hit. Except the entry hole of the bullet gets quickly packed and sealed to stem blood loss, such injuries kill in minutes.
Now let me begin to point out the deliberate incompetence of both the state and federal governments and security agencies.
1. Naka road where this attack happened, is a road that has consistently been plaqued by marauding Fulani killers. The road is in utter state of disrepair and has remained so since the 90s. Thick vegetation surrounds that road for miles. The Fulani emerge from the bush, strike and then retreat. No week es without Fulani killing people on that road. Up to this moment, two Benue links buses full of engers, had the occupants kidnapped by the same Fulani and nothing has been done. This incidents happened less than a month ago.
2. Two Nigerian army check points are on that road. The police have a check point on that road too. These check points are primarily used to collect money from drivers. Once you approach any of the army check points, the driver of the vehicle MUST alight, walk to an area beside the checking point and drop 200 naira into a bowl the soldiers have set up for that purpose. The soldiers merely sit under a tree close to the check point and observe.
3. Makurdi is headquarters to the largest command of the Nigerian air force. This is where most of our fighter jets are based. While this airforce base is not home to airforce helicopters, the base can serve as a quick staging area for helicopters that can be brought in for surveillance.
4. About helicopters, with all the noise successive Benue state governments have been making regarding the Fulani killings, not one governor has bothered to procure a helicopter that can be quickly deployed to search for the Fulani camps that undoubtedly exist in the thick forests around the Makurdi-Naka road.
5. Infrared/night vision capable cameras are a thing some helicopters carry now. If the federal government won't mandate the airforce to use it's combat helicopters equipped with night vision cameras to search for Fulani camps in the forests, nothing stops the Benue state government from buying a couple of the civilian helicopters that can be used for such.
6. The Fulani build make shift camps deep in forests. Everyone generates body heat. Against the contrast that vegetation provides, this heat a human being generates can be picked up by infra red cameras on a helicopter. A helicopter on patrol that picks up a settlement in the thick forest with its IR cameras can easily geo-locate that location for Nigerian army paratroopers who are based in north bank, Makurdi to swoop down and investigate.
Heat in the forest is likely human activity. The Fulani killers have to use fire to cook after all.
Tackling the Fulani menace is not rocket science. Technology exists that can make sure these guys don't have a place to hide. All round incompetence in Nigeria's security architecture and the lack of the political will is what makes these killings continue.
They have moles at the top. Before you carry out the operation they have been informed and have safely relocated.
Gbadugbakun:
Nigerians are naturally stubborn. You know how useless the police is and how lawless the country is yet when they stop you, you'll be following them to drag and refusing to stop.
Just stop and show them your papers highest they'll ask you for weekend money. If you like you can give if you like you can tell them you don't have case closed.
The police can be very irritating at times. I don't evading police scrutiny though. It's important for the safety of us all. What I frown at is shooting live bullets. What happened to rubber bullets? Why chase offenders when u can track them with their vhcl numbers? Get the vhcl numbers, track and ensure effective prosecution. In many developed countries, u don't see police on the road. They use remote traffic. But nobody dares disobey due to vhcl tracking. Why don't we apply that in Nigeria to end this wastage of lives on the streets. The shots could take out an unsuspecting bystander.
Na Government wan dey tell private schools how dem go dey operate their school buses?
Are the citizens that worse that they can't innovatively come up with something special, for even their own private Business?
The comment is not OFF. it's germane. It is government legislation that makes for law and order in the society. If the state or national assembly so legislate and the executive signs into law, the law enforcement agencies pick that up. Defaulters would go in for it. So, hold the government able for societal chaos and disorder. The government includes your clueless elected legislators.
