Propaganda!!!

If you know, you know!

They're trying to make the previous board extremely bad

This is not propaganda. This is what happens when you let a company sell product at a profit. Even the petrol it imports

It would have even made more since 1992 if we had listened to good advice then and removed subsidy

Not everything is apc and pdp. Subsidies always end in tears

There was nothing. Nnpcl recorded zero profit under Buhari government because all their revenue were used to pay subsidy
This is a lie

NNPC has been posting profits since 2021

I'm shocked you folks that ed Buhari fanatically all through his 8 years are lying against him now on the little achievements he had

Impressive performance by NNPC Limited! 🚀 The N5.89 trillion revenue and N748 billion PAT in just one month shows real momentum. Encouraging to see investments in infrastructure like the AKK and OB3 pipelines nearing completion — game changers for the energy sector. Also commendable are the community impact efforts — from cataract surgeries to ICT training and farmer empowerment. Let’s hope the unaudited figures hold strong after review and that these developments translate into long-term economic benefits for Nigerians. 👏🇳🇬

NNPCL is now pumping moneeey!

Reforms are working.

Just a month or so after Mr Ojulari's appointment.

Yet, some people want to bring back the same failures who had all the opportunities under Mr Buhari's government, but didn't achieve anything.

The same NNPC that has struggled financially for over 30 years is now being turned around.

Please let Mr Tinubu continue his good work.

Wow. It is rare to see a government organization declaring profit. Kudos to President Tinubu for turning around the fortune of NNPC Limited.
I am starting to have hope for Nigeria.

So therefore , Nigeria should continue with reckless and fruitless borrowings, right?

That shows you don't get my point.

If we want to stop borrowing, let us vote out tinubu and vote in a government that would diversify our economy

Better still, make the export of manufactured goods and services the basis of our economy

So long as most of our government revenue comes from oil and so long as we don't control the price of crude we will keep borrowing. That is why we have been borrowing for decades

Does vote count in this country? We all know that tinubu will bring his way in for a second tenure as usual

At least, for the first time, the NNPCL is making public what has often been shrouded in secrecy.

If they can sustain it, it would gradually restore the confidence of Nigerians in the behemoth called the NNPCL.

The authenticity of the figures published is a topic for another day.

May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu

According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this istration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.

So many comments here reek of arrogant display of ignorance.

Well, I'm not surprised. They the usual bitterleaf people. It is in their blood.

Let me ask you, how many of your family or household, your neighbours, your coworkers, Those in your street, your church or those in your neighbourhood have died of poverty and hunger?

And is there any time in history of humankind that we don’t have hungry people among us? Even in the days of the Bible.

Great that you have quoted me.

In one hand you have denied there being murderous poverty in the land and in the same breath you have stated that there are always poor people.

Yours is blind followership. Not me. No. No one in my immediate proximity has died of cancer, for instance, does that mean that people are not dying of cancer?.

To educate you further, poverty does not go in the streets with a machete hacking people to death. It steals affordability; nutrition is missing in their meals and immune systems collapse, and people are unable to afford basic and tertiary healthcare; with poverty also comes safety compromises, eg use bad car parts or tyres for example, on their cars which then directly or indirectly leads to accidents and deaths, etc. I could go on and on. Poverty is an agency of death.

The poor would always be among us. As a leader of government, you wouldn't to put this in your campaign promises. Would you? The fundamental role of government is the security of the lives and properties of it's citizens. The next item after this is the prosperity of its people.

Only a low thinking government would assume that you can have a rich country of poor people. The prosperity of a nation's people is it's wealth.

You don't just assume everyone is attacking your paymasters. Use your own coconut. No one is more Nigerian than the rest of us.

Petrol prices vary per country, so your assertion is not correct

Check gasoline prices per nation website.

Also , you don't know about the concept of competition, and also that many countries charge a tax on top of the fuel price

I am.not an apc er, by the way.

Is ebilokan not doing it as he promised after using Obasanjo’s clueless Buhari to make Jonathan a one term president and changing PDP’s deregulation and privatisation capitalism for APC’s rice sharing corrupted socialism that is fraudulently called progressivism here?

Majesty2:
The APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has revealed how he will drive the economy of the country, strengthen the Naira and making the country "import less" while "exporting more".

If petrol price in the international market is $1/lit and you sell less to your citizens, its subsidy because the opportunity cost is higher.

That money you'd have made by selling abroad, that you're not making is subsidy. For Dangote to sell N800, means we're selling him crude cheaper, which is a form of subsidy.

There's also harmonization cost to close the gap even to the farthest states
