Most complaints were of MILs who have hubby's as they have the power to control the situation but would rather do nothing.

If not that I have seen someone ing through a situation similar to these stories I wouldn't have believed it. People through a lot. Lot of men and mother in law have zero sympathy for their wives/DILs but their own daughters will be treated differently. Even some husbands are on this table they also want to be babied by a new mother who has not even recovered herself. ![]() 19 Likes 2 Shares |

phorget: No mind them... Na dem be Team "I want an exciting man". At the end of the day when the reality dawns on her that her "exciting" man is an irredeemable man, she'll start crying "all men are scum". 18 Likes |

I'm finding it hard to believe all of these s not that it excuses the barbarity of Nigerian men and their greatest enablers (their mothers). I've heard of a case of a mother who shouted her daughter in-law who fainted not to stress her husband, after all she's not the first to give birth. This is someone who lost a lot of blood after putting to bed yet was expected to be cooking and doing all the chores for mama who came to "help" her with childcare. This is why women need to be selfish when it comes to their general well-being. Nobody can take care of you better than you

These stories doesn't add up except it is a cultural difference because in Igbo tribe it is the Mother of the lady that goes for "Omugwo" except all these people are all living with their Mother In-law.

You ladies married beasts in the name of marriage, I keep wondering where some of you Nigerian ladies meet these kinds of horrible men you call husbands, odikwa very risky. Imagine beating your wife few weeks after a CS birth? Only a monster will do that. Reasonable guys will be asking you ladies out and you will be forming hard to get lady that don't answer strangers or give strangers your number just because you are dating one monster that will later turn you to his prey, abeg make una carry Una wahala go one side, we are focused on kicking Tinubu out of Aso Rock and back to Iragbiji his original hometown come 2027 ![]() ![]() 14 Likes 3 Shares |

It's difficult to please some people. My wife tells people I was mean and wicked to her while she was in labour. Madam what evil did your husband do? You were having labour pains and your husband refused to drive you to the market to buy vegetables that you don't need. Oga drove you to the hospital against your wish. You might believe her when she tells you she was treated harshly while in labour.

Some of this treat I guess is from old age from some of old women. I guess is old mentality and may not necessarily mean evil... But which ever one, a man shud always stay far from his mother. Staying together may breed breakaway. But some wife are intolerable too
