The question I want to ask is this. Where did his wife do her antenatal? Because one of the things you get to know beforehand during antenatal is if surgery will be scheduled or not. You are even given a date where you come in and this date comes a few days before your EDD.

If we check your background now your great grand father might had 25 children even with only 5 plot of land farming job yet he raised all the children

Reading through this thread honestly breaks my heart and makes me lose hope in Nigeria. A country where a man loses his wife because he couldn’t afford emergency hospital bills, and instead of comion, people rush to call him irresponsible and useless. Do you know how many families in the North live in worse conditions yet still raise children with whatever little they have? But no one shames them.
We live in a society where people contribute millions to vote for Big Brother Naija housemates, yet when it comes to helping someone in real need, someone desperate and helpless, silence. Mockery. Blame.
If life is good for you today, thank God, but never forget it can all change in a moment. Instead of mocking those who are struggling, try to help. Show empathy. Because tomorrow, it could be you no matter how prepared you think you may be.
