I disagree with the bolded that a coach is the sole key to a team’s success. While I do agree that a good coach can implement strong tactical approaches and get the best out of his players, even the most brilliant coach cannot achieve much if he's managing a poor or unbalanced squad. No matter how tactically astute a coach may be, he needs quality players and a solid team structure to succeed.

So it's the team that makes the difference. Look at Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League , teams don't fear them simply because of who is their coach they fear Madrid because of the strength, depth, the brand and identity of the club itself.
Coaches come and go, but the legacy and quality of the team endure.

Then, midway through that same season, he was hired by Real Madrid. In less than three years, he won two Champions League titles and a La Liga trophy.
