So, to every first born in the house that has one or two responsibilities in the family, how do you cope with the event or the day?

Meanwhile, restructuring or this country should be on every concern citizens lips, and not the futile pro, APC, lp songs we seems to be occupied with. The restructuring we take care of all the problems and issues been raised effortlessly.

Let's think smart

Isese lagba! But I concur with the woman submission. The festival was evidently practiced during the odd time of the night in the past, things is now evolving with our heterogenous beliefs.

May God bless Nigerians

As truth as all been said are. There is no sector or department (civil servants, cooperate entities, private/public sectors) that can be vindicated from an unlawful act of maximizing wealth.

The civil servants for instant uses their pen to control and manipulate figures for their Oga at the top; some uses this to manipulate their ways to the top. It is wisely said that 🖊️ as light as it is has been used to kill and make a man.

In relative to Nigeria situation, you will have to pay more attention to the lower stair of a building before giving a thought to the upper stairs.

The spoils of today all began from the deep rooted part of our tree, and it got infected up to the plank and bore the forbidden fruits we all share around today. Enough can't be said when it comes to our dilapidated states, it's been ages and our elders have kept watch doing nothing till it gets to this period.

Indeed, our one day shall be one day...

Once upon a time, there was a time that cooking and eating at home was more economical compared to eating out.

We did not appreciate those at the helm of power as of then, we insulted them and chose change. See where we are today, see what the change has brought us today. The change we so much asked for.

Prices of food and its ingredient have all blown over the roof top.

Eating at home is now extremely, in fact more expensive than eating outside.

Sometimes I wonder what legacy will be left for generation to come.

My bro, this only leave you with one guess that we never had it good in this country. Look at the time Mr Idris sang the song 'Nigeria Jaga Jaga' you will agree with me that for those who are old enough to know what was going on then that they were yearning for moment and regime before that.

End of quote, our train is plying a destroyed and defect track and it can never balance until the platform at which it moves is reconstructed/restructured for it to be steady and take us to the rightful destination

I think shortly before the 2023 elections when there was chronic cash scarcity.

It's pathetic that we are trading currencies under the guise of POS.

[quote author=blackboy post=135125493]Pos is corruption by the banks. Those POS machines are from the banks too. They collabo with bank staff.

Of course, every one knows this now. Our people has legally monetized the usage of pos and some of our immediate family or friends now use that as a major source of income. But govt is saddled with responsibilities to regulate all this to a minimal level. Our debit card is useless if it can't dispense cash. And I feel the deduction of ATM services should be per usage

So, it's weekend tomorrow and I had a course to enter First Bank for a business tax payment yesterday for my boss. So the thought crossed my mind after I was told there was no network that "come o, when was even the last time I used my commercial bank to dispense cash'

I can't even tell where I placed my debit card at home. Because you can't confidently go to the bank ATM stand when you need a cash. cry

Thanks to mini bank (pos). And this lack of service never stopped these banks from debiting your s every now and then for ATM services. How!!!! When

My concern is that govt are really not doing anything about this long time financial injustice. We seriously need our banks back? cool

They are gamblers not investors. No pity party for gamblers and stop gaslighting please

Gaslighting? Even life itself is a gamble. Waking to find yourself on earth is a big gamble, going out not knowing if you will return or not is a huge risk. Invariably, we all takes risk at one point in life but in different proportion and measures..

This is a lie; I can only agree with your second point.

When my guy approached me in January to CBEX, I had more than the minimum $100 to invest. But after researching, I discovered it was a Ponzi scheme. When he made his first withdrawal in February, he called me again, and I still told him I couldn’t participate in a Ponzi scheme.

Then, in March, he sent me a voice note—and its content broke my heart. He started saying I’d be the poorest man in the world, that he’d given me updates that I'm not following, and so many other hurtful things that made me feel terrible about my financial situation

Lol, then you don't belong to the aforementioned categories. I think you are disciplined enough to separate a ponzi scheme from a real crypto investment. The point raise is all about people who make mockery of those who lost their money to cbex and certain people who had no dime to get committed but are quick to call the investors gullible minded

They don't joke but lost millions souls fighting gangis kan...... Which made them build the great wall of China to prevent any future gangis kan.... All am saying the Yoruba tradition is playing with fire by roping in fulani Islam.... My prayer is that the warriors that pushed the danfodio bastards from oyo Kingdom all the way to northern half of kwara still lives in today Yoruba people....

Akerelodu who stood up for Yoruba people is gone and currently there's no none like him in the Yoruba leadership

Owk, I think I get ur point better now and you are right in ur submission. But we can't deny or accept these problems by a mere word. To crystalize the existence of our culture, all hands must be on deck, it has to be agitated for by all. The likes of Akeredolu will still rise up among us to continue the work and even do it better. I pray for the repost of his soul
meedoLock(m): 1:38pm On Apr 18
I've you noticed the current wave is all about cbex. This is what I observed since people found out the ponzi platform is no longer what they portrayed themselves as:
1. Every dik and harry now leverage their lack of money on cbex dilemma. As an average person a financial help now, they will tell you "omoh don't you know how much of my money was into cbex". Even those who had no dime invested

2. Another category of CBEX mood is the fact that, some people are in self denial of their investment in cbex so that certain people will not see them in a very gullible way. And some will quietly leave a gathering were the issues are being delivered on.

3. Also, certain people who could not invest due to fund constraints, but were apparently jealous of those who had money to throw at it. These set of people are quick to rubbish and judge those who invested and label them with all sorts of derogatory banters.

But the truth of the matter is that, majority of the people out there who did not invest would have been part of the victims today if they had the monetary capability to do cbex. And I see it as an act of hypocrisy of the highest order if you start making a mockery of people who are still groaning of the pain inflicted by cbex.

Everyone at one point would have to be faced with the reality of life. You win some and lose some. You can't perpetually have one of the two.

Till Fulanis will wipe it out .... Except if another ighadolo comes up to save the Yoruba tradition

Hmmm. Only you will understand what you put up there.... By the way, I've seen how people from different colours and background sustain their tradition and culture ed to them by their ancestors. The old and modern China is a typical example. This people don't joke with tradition. I expect Africa to rise up before all aged practice of our fathers goes into an extinction

That's how I ended up investing my last allawee balance during my service back in the days. I was apparently tempted by coleeagues I shared apartment with who received payments call every now and then. I wasn't cut out for such endeavours in the past but I went on with it anyways. The first ref flag was my inability to transfer the fund directly from my smart phone. Then I went to the only bank in the community to do the transfer, still not going. Then I had to borrow a phone to complete the transaction. It was like they were waiting for my payment before they crash the whole thing. Omoh!! I couldn't cry...

All this sponzi schemes are down to luck, it very early and leave before the ovation rises😁😁

But all these hullabaloo is not in the interest of the good people of Rivers State. There is an urgent need for this country to be reset. Make the public offices less juicy for any aspirants. Let all tiers of govt be independent. Decentralize the Federal power and let states be in full control of their resources.

Then we are talking. But what do I know though!
