In 1999, Yoruba presented this man as President, an astute economist but Nigerians rejected him for a soldier. In 2023, Yoruba presented a first class ant, this time, he was accepted.

Reno Omokri has the right description for Tinubu.

You talk as if Nigerian police living in another world unlike other salary earners in Nigeria.

Is the minimum wage in Nigeria not 70,000 naira?

Some nurses in Nigeria are earning
200,000 - 250,000 monthly.

How much are nurses earning in USA?

Southeast have been doing fine and will continue to do better without TINUBULATION.

Stop telling lies here sir
Pay them the 5m first, then you would have removed all excuses for corruption.

Again the notion that cops are the least paid in the world is a BIG FAT LIE

If you drag the issue further, I’ll give you a breakdown with facts that will show you horribly Nigeria treats its police officers while expecting the best from them

Politicians are stealing despite earning huge salary. So your suggestion na babablu.

Increase minimum wage to 5 million naira too, so workers won't steal.

You made alot of sense. Are you an engineer?

I want to ask a question that is different from this thread, but also concerns buildings. In our fence, the wall closest to the gate(that thick concrete that usually holds the gate) is cracking, breaking and falling apart gradually. What could be the solution to dis?
Demolish the pillar and build a new one.

Not much votes is needed from South East but at least they should share their votes in different baskets, one will definitely work for the preparation for future presidency
No be you go tell southeast wetin dem go do.

You people that shared votes in different baskets ended up shouting ebinpawa.

Is Tinubu giving you petrol 200 naira per litre, while others buy at 950? Because you shared votes in different baskets?

Good one from NAFDAC. I think VDM really wanted NAFDAC to perpetually close these shops. If they have to charge them court according to VDM, a lot of Anambra business men will go to jail for it.

Those that have not paid ground rent in Abuja should be charged to court and be jailed too.

I thought they said all of them are selling fake drugs.

More than 1,000 shops have paid the extortion fee, abi na fine.

NAFDAC is saying they sold good drugs but the only problem was that it wasn't ed, while others didn't have standard storage facility for the drugs

PRESS RELEASE NAFDAC WARNS AGAINST INCITEMENT, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO DRUG MARKET REFORMS AND PUBLIC SAFETY

The National Agency for Food and Drug istration and Control (NAFDAC) has become aware of misleading videos circulating on social media, in which a social media influencer attempts to incite traders at the Onitsha Bridge Head Market against the Federal Government's regulatory efforts. NAFDAC hereby alerts the public and relevant security agencies to this incitement, which may amount to a breach of the Cybercrime Act. Between February 9 and March 27, 2025, NAFDAC conducted a nationwide enforcement operation targeting three major Open Drug Markets: Idumota (Lagos), Aba (Abia), and Onitsha (Anambra). These operations resulted in the seizure and destruction of banned, expired, falsified, and substandard medicines and controlled substances valued at over one trillion Naira. Investigations revealed that the warehouses, shops, and distribution outlets in these markets failed to meet Good Storage and Distribution Practice (GSDP) standards and were not ed with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN), in clear violation of national laws.

As part of regulatory actions, investigative charges were imposed on the offending operators as stipulated in federal government regulations.
These included: A 5,000,000 investigative charge for the sale of uned products, which was reduced to 200,000 following appeals.
A 2,000,000 investigative charge for violations of Good Storage and Distribution Practices, reduced to 500,000 after further appeals.

These penalties are officially gazetted charges and were applied fairly across the affected markets. NAFDAC remains committed to its mandate of safeguarding public health by ensuring that all medical products; drugs, vaccines, medical devices, and others circulating in Nigeria are safe, effective, and of good quality. By enforcing compliance with regulations, the Agency aims to protect the most vulnerable, including pregnant women, children, and individuals with chronic conditions.

NAFDAC assures the public that it will continue to operate within the bounds of its legal mandate and will not be deterred by attempts to derail critical regulatory reforms.

Use same energy to talk against sku|| mining by your people.

Up till this moment, Peter Obi has not responded to IMF debt clearance by Fg

Okay let's assume the IMF debt news is late, FG has just paid another $2bn debt to China and India just some days ago

Peter Obi is too petty to be a politician not to talk of being a president of any association

Ponzi scheme of borrow borrow.

The 2 billion dollars they wasted on rehabilitation of refineries that gave us only scrap metals.

NAFDAC and the Onitsha Head Bridge Market

I recall visiting the Head Bridge Market during the initial phase of its closure, standing in of the authorities to ensure our society is free from fake drugs and counterfeit goods.

I did so with the hope that investigations would be carried out swiftly, and the market would be reopened promptly, especially to ease the suffering of small business owners already burdened by our current national economic challenges.

It is, therefore, deeply unfortunate to learn that shop owners are now being asked to pay ₦700,000 to reopen their stores.

Already, over 7 million Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) have collapsed in the past two years in Nigeria. Our MSME’s businesses are at a “we can’t breathe” stage, and the very system that should be offering them oxygen to their breathing is instead suffocating them.

This level of insensitivity is both disturbing and uncaring. Let us prioritize comion, economic recovery, and the survival of our small businesses at this critical time in our nation.

Surely, I am standing in of the authorities to ensure our society is free from fake drugs and counterfeit goods. I did so with the hope that investigations would be carried out swiftly, and the market would be reopened promptly, especially to ease the suffering of small business owners already burdened by our current national economic challenges.

I want to appeal again to the relevant authorities: please review and drop this charge. Allow these businesses to reopen.

These shop owners have already endured prolonged closures, mounting unpaid bills, and economic strain. Adding further burdens to them and their families at this time is simply unjust and an economic sabotage.

Comion must lie at the root of government action.

The North-East was the worst hit. It recorded 706 deaths within the period. The North-West followed with 552 deaths while the North-Central recorded 273 deaths. The South-South, South-West and South-East recorded 185, 163 and 121 deaths, respectively.
