See how we Nigerians sit and take sides . Most of us don't even know what's being fought for.

I laugh at people when they take sides and charge them to continue….Humanity has truly lost its relevance.

Honestly. Makes we wonder how I think about humans . Should I just come to belive that humans arent peaceful beings?

Commissioning left right and centre yet no improvements in the welfare and lives of citizens

See, nothing government will do that wont be criticized. Isn't the government duties to provide good roads again? That's their job. Let's give accolades when due.

True, the cost of living is high and it's the government's duty to look into it. If these roads wasnt done, wouldn't we still complain?
.Let's applaud this and demand for more.

Thanks

Very insensitive for David to say. He has my followershio but this he said doesn't cut it. First, a man is entitled to his opinion and choice of association. That the man died shouldn't have anything to do with his polical affiliation.

You're Harsh on me, honestly.

Honestly, he said what I was thinking. Your mum deserves the right to be happy too. She is human too. It's just so unfortunate that the laws of the land is biased toward women. I mean, is it the same for a widower.

God forbid . Put yourself in your mother's shoes as a man. Won't you go marry too or have a constant relationship with a female.or two?

We are not talking about the Port Harcourt refinery or rice pyramid or Nigerian airways. We are also not arguing. You made very bold claims that student loans were being embezzled and that subsidy was still being paid. I only questioned you to back up what you claimed.

There is no need for gaslighting or switching to ad hominem. You could just say you were speculating and that would be fine as it would demonstrate integrity. I think you itted this when you said as follows:

It is fine that you itted that you didn't know what you were saying but was talking from what you were thinking.

In future, refrain from making bold claims you can't back up. See Natasha. She could not back anything she said and turned into a village gossip. Do not be like Natasha.

https://punchng.com/fg-vcs-under-fire-over-n100bn-student-loan-controversy/.

I made reference to the pyramid and port Harcourt refineries because this was same way people it was all lies but it ended up being the truth.

No Gaslightinng here as everything will be opposed until it happens and then we will say I told you so. Hasn't that been happening?

How about the others I highlighted in you first comment on this topic?

You said the student loan was being embezzled. I asked you by whom. You also said subsidy payment is right before our eyes. I asked you to show me because I can't see it. Let me ask the questions again:

You can say you don't know and you just said it because it is a popular view. That would be integrity.

When we engage in political discussions, I tend not to say much considering the fact that most of us are just talking from what we think and not what's happening( which half of the time we no nothing about). Example is the Portharcout refinery, The RICE pyramid by Buhari, Nigerian airways Some of us said they were all "Fugazi" but some people argue to high heavens that it's a lie. If I say what I know , it won't make any difference to you because it just what I will say.

Apologies if it seems like I am asking you to do a research yourself.

Who is embezzling the student loan?

Can you explain who is collecting subsidy, and how it is paid? I really want to know.

As for insecurity, also balance your views about terrorists sent to the afterlife daily.

The loans are being disbursed, how many students have gotten it?

It has been debated severally that the government still pays a partial subsidy.

Terrorists have always been sent to afterlife daily before BAT . It's being years now and one will think we would have found a lasting solution to this issue.

While some people's legacy is a brewery and how he used to buy fuel in government vehicles by himself and how he had one shoe and one wristwatch for seventeen years, Tinubu shows workings:

1. The coastal highway is active. 30 km is done.

2. Tinubu started the student loans to reduce the burden on indigent parents.

3. The fraudulent oil subsidy was canceled. This allowed increased allocations to states. States are now solvent.

4. Tinubu accomplished local government autonomy.

5. We have not heard much complaints from ASUU. Judicial workers are also happy. Well, they were on strike earlier this week, which was called off immediately.

6. The salaries of judges were increased.

7. There are now development commissions for the geopolitical zones.

8. Southern Kaduna has felt federal interventions in of a hospital and tertiary institutions.

9. Insecurity is being tackled.

10. Nigeria is united.

11. Peter Obi, lost the elections.

Thanks to Tinubu, Nigeria now has, for the first time in history, an association of bitter senior political refugees desperately searching for relevance and power.

The student loan is being embezzled .

Subsidy isn't gone brother. It's there right before our eyes.

Insecurity is being tackled? I doubt that , it is same Benue heardmen's killings we have been hearing since. Same Jos and Plateau killings .
Some police extra judiciary killings and mal treatments.

Nigeria being united? I have never in my life ft the tribal tensions as much as I am feeling it now. Except we want to lie to ourselves. we currently have factions of Yoruba like Yoruba Roni, Yoruba first, Igbo first. It's evident even here on Nairaland. Recent example is the last Jamb results, how did we get to the point that we started point of accusing tribes for mass failing candidates on purpose? How?

Brother. Let's not lie to ourselves. Everything is glaring . We we see the truth Let's talk irrespective which side it swings to. Corruption is still at its peak.

I am pro Development. Coastal Highway , I like and honestly, they are moving at a fast pace. Unlike before that projects will take years to begin.
Just thinking about it, you are right o. Being a while ASUU gone on strike. Tinubu must be doing something right about that then .
Also, talking about electricity, it has improved truly. Power is predictable and it seems we are getting closer to 24hrs daily supply. We can debate the cost later but light dey dey sha.

Would be difficult to tell from where and how remotely.

Does that mean the engine will have to be brought down to check?

Oh sorry. I didn't know you drove a 1989 pathfinder SUV. My bad. Check if there's water in your tank. Thats the only thing I can think of at this point.

NB. I'm not a magician to know your car year or model or engine type, neither am I present to inspect and diagnose to know what's wrong.

It's a 2008 model. There's water in the tank when checked. I removed thermostat to check if maybe the thermostat malfunctions but same thing still happens when parked uphill.

Fuel pump checked, it's okay. I could parked on a level ground for days and come back to start my car. If I park inclined upward with engine off for over 3 to 4 hours, the sparkplugs become water wet.
Temperature gauge reads normal .

Some people said head gasket or a hole somewhere on the engine block or cylinder head.

I want to be sure, i don't want them doing trial and error method
FILEBE(m): 10:08am On May 22

It's normal, that's how beetle does.

Anyways, it may be acting such way because of your fuel pump isn't picking up fuel. Check your fuel pump installation and correct the alignment of the fuel pump and fuel ASSY in the tank.

Normal ke? I have been parking on that spot for years, it doesn't do that. Just started this week.

Sparkplugs become wet with water, to get the engine started , i will need to clean the Spark plugs and remove the residual water from the plug chamber. My car isn't a beetle . Lol. Na SuV

Good day.
I ma having this weird issue. Don't know if someone else has experienced it also before .

If I park uphill, like park with the engine inclined upward, after some hours of it cooling down . The engine will fail to start, it will crank but won't start. If I park on a plain level, car will start fine , once.

I have tried this 4 times and same result. It just started happening this week.

So, what happened that would not start the csr uphill is that the spargplugs become water wet. Cleaning g the sparkplugs and blowing of residual water left in the engine will immediately start the car. What could be the reason for this?
This only happened when parked uphill and left to cool for a while. Let's say 4 to 5 hours .

Nigeria alone.
Amotekun, ESN,
Police,Sars,Topology, operation SweepDelta
EFCC, IC
Vio, frsc, lastma , task force.
And many more.

Lots of forces and parastatals that should be merge as one will split and be doing same job .

If Police is very effective, Their won't be Amotekun in the first place . We don't have confidence in the NPF.

You can make use of the DPM.
Also do something to mitigate the challenge caused by rainfall water splashing on the external walls of the building before you're told in future that you did not build right.

You need to be a true follower of certain engineers who have a mix of academic work and proper and thorough field work experience to know the reasons why any engineer would require a DPM or not.

Just this few questions for you....
(1) What's the height of your foundation from natural ground level?

(2) Does that environment experience flooding after rainfall ?

(3) Are there proper drainage already constructed within that environment and surroundings?

(4) Is there any natural water body to a depth of 6 feet or borrow pit within a radius of 500 metres around that area?

Thanks.

To answer your questions.

1. About 3 cement blocks high
2. No I doesn't
3. A new site. Water flows down the slop
4..nope there isnt .

ALL FOUNDATIONS NEED A DAMP PROOF COURSE. I don't understand people building without DPC. Building without DPC is just an accident waiting to happen.

However, BRC - Bar Re-enforcement Concrete is absolutely not necessary in a residential building. Introducing BRC in a residential building is tentamount to over engineering. For commercial buildings like petrol stations with heavy traffic, BRC is recommended to prevent cracking from heavy vehicular traffic. But in a residential family home - no way. Waste of valuable money.

Thanks. Well, articulated. Someone said the "over engineering part" but I just needed to hear from here. Now I am convinced . Damp proof only then. One shouldn't waste money anyhow..

Thanks once again. You were really convincing.
FILEBE(m): 6:15pm On May 16
Good day.
I want to ask if using damp proof and using BRC mesh is necessary for a floor foundation of a one story building. Considering that one is trying to save cost at this critical time and also, the land isn't a waterlogged area. Artisans advised against it that it is a waste of money, Engineer said i could, if want to. What to hear from people's experiences and also from professionals here.
