Don't be childish. The bolded is stupid!! Why try rubbish the identity "Nigerians"?

Since time immemorial, that has always been the case regardless of race, gender, country of origin, religious belief or what so ever categories

People go into something because of someone or group of people. Haven't you heard of the word "founder", "inventor", "creator", and others related to them
Anywhere belle face even if you don't have what it takes...na them zombies

That £1500 monthly is for one who is on minimum wage, paying for bills for services being rendered......so what is the recurrent expenditure of a Nigerian worker in Nigeria earning the minimum wage of N70,000 and how much is him/her saving monthly?
How many people are paid above that?

Ave worker in the uk earn between £1500 to £2000

Very few are in the higher bracket

You don't get it, the Nigerians in the UK didn't earn 70k while they were in Nigeria

They lived in 2-3 bedroom, have one or two cars while they were in Nigeria...only to get to UK n be living in cubicle or non standard 2 bedrooms with one toilet.

Can't afford to use more than one car cos of the expenses that comes with it

Again..council tax pays for services rendered to you by the council and keep the city running, you are basically paying for services you enjoy.

You don’t have to pay for TV licence, thousands don’t pay it.

If you are struggling with monthly payments then how can you afford to pay yearly?

How about moving back to Nigeria where things are almost free?

While living in Nigeria we complain about the system not working even when we pay for services, you moved to the UK where the system works and you enjoy what you paid for and you are still complaining?

It's illegal, you can go to jail for it

Council tax is already high, yet you pay water bill separately. These bills come monthly without enough inflow to settle them. These bills are not in your control. They are non negotiable

Living pay check to pay check isn't life. How can you be earning £1500 and your recurrent expenditure is £1200 . That's a rat race

So are you expecting the British govt to pay for things you used? Do you get those free in Nigeria?

If you don't want to pay bills then leave the UK and move to your village in Nigeria.
You don't pay tv licence n council tax in Nigeria

Rent isn't monthly in Nigeria

You don't pay insurance n road tax monthly in Nigeria

Parking ain't free in the uk

The issue is recurrent spending in the uk is high

So one day, I finally thought of processing my thought and guest what? I ended up with a list, list of things I have dreamt of doing, which I love doing but never gave them a short just because my mind is so much consumed with the intrusive thought.
Just a simple prayer

God, grant me the peace of mind to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference
