Kptech: Oga, you did not read the post. I can help you. Start from the paragraph where you have 'In a statement titled.....', count the paragraphs, start from the 9th to the 15th or 16th. Bro, I am yet to see such brilliant, articulate and factual remark as those of Dr. Saraki in the last few years. Just go read am. He intelligently roasted Akpabio by saying the National Aseembly was drifting and not as virile as it should be. He also finished Tinubu by talking about how subtly he is influencing a one-party National Assembly. In the same speech he acknowledged Akpabio as his friend and for not minding the President's body language in inviting him. If you have mastery of the art of reading between the lines, you will doff your cap for the writer of that speech and Dr. Saraki. It is so glaring that Dr. Saraki played a significant role in the content development and construction of that speech. I am surprised I am speaking this way of Dr. Saraki. I think that this is the most highly I have ever spoken of him. |

rinzaugustine: Why can't he partner to bring high-in-demand manufacturing industries or factories, either in agro-processing, FMCGs, ICT, Textile, healthcare/household supplies etc, that can absorb say 25,000 or more unemployed people? This will automatically have direct positive impact on security, IGR, living standards, economy etc. Hospitality investments rarely thrive where disposable incomes are scarcely available. Industries and improvements on living standards and security often, naturally, activate and fire-up sectors such as tourism and hospitality. 1 Like |

I think a robust platform for debate amongst the aspirants should be put together. I am very interested in that. That is my senatorial zone, and from experience, I think we have had one too many embellishments, if you like exaggerations, of people's profiles and credentials, without tangible results. Essentially, these are not what matter. I think that it is high time we expanded the spotlight and our demand for ability, to capture individuals in legislative positions, including Reps and Assemblies, if we must achieve accelerated development. If we take a look at persons in legislative positions (NASS and Assembly) per state, we should be talking of 35 - 50 (if not more), perhaps with the exception of Bayelsa. Their impact in governance is a significant source of concern. It is quite abysmal to say the least. 1 Like |

All the gbos gbas na their business. But to speak the truth, Amaechi and Wike be contemporaries for politics. I know when Wike be Obio/Akpor LGA Chairman for 1999. I was living on Psychiatric road. Amaechi was Assembly member and Speaker. I think Magnus Abe too was in the State Assembly as Amaechi's colleague during their first term and later became either a Commissioner or SSG. Abe was in a minority political party then. Odili was the real boss in Rivers. 6 Likes |

Firebox123: What has ASUU got to do with real metrics of governance? We are talking cost of goods and services, food security, basic amenities, employment generation, security, access to business funding etc. |

ALTERNATEID: Trump means incompetence. I can't imagine that he is still apportioning blames to Biden. I thought he said he could stop the war. The world now knows him for who he truly is - only good at talking down people, churning senseless, vindictive policies and humiliating colleagues from around the world. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Anyiamaka: I agree with you. Soludo could be defeated. Jonathan was defeated. Soludo toyed with insecurity in Anambra, and only just woke up to his primary responsibility of securing lives and properties, few weeks ago. No serious minded Anambrarian wouldn't think that it is because elections are coming. For me, that's deceit! The implication of this is simple: after reelection, he'd abandon security again. It's that simple. |

higgs: It is just you that spoke, objectively. Soludo wasted so much time before tackling insecurity. I am profoundly unhappy with him about that. Lives have been lost, and people who truly understand what the sanctity of life means, may eternally begrudge him for that. Infrastructure can be built and rebuilt at anytime, but any life lost is gone forever. Sincerely, I am reconsidering my for him. If I get on the media team of a good opposing party (not APC which has a 'follow come' rejection syndrome in the Southeast o), I'd give the APGA team a run for their money, plus loads of sleepless nights. Just give me a candidate like Chukwuemeka Chikelu, Chukwuma Umeoji or Osita Chidoka, and see what happens. 1 Like |

Sermwell: It is normal, my brother. I do not see why people get overly excited. For me, I do not freak out one bit seeing any of such people. I met Obi Cubana and Flavour at Carlton Swiss Grand Hotel, Enugu the same day Flavour buried his father. Everyone at the hotel were just minding their business. I don meet people wey dem sef. I just don't think it is normal how people freak out upon seeing such people. |

Atuero: No be lie yet they have not stopped to compound the problems of worshippers with incessant calls and blackmails for contributions and donations for unending, gigantic Church projects. Can't they setup and run factories, farms and industries to contribute jobs to the economy? These are more practical and far-reaching approaches instead of spending millions and billions on conferences that yield nothing. A good number of these bishops romance and enjoy substantial pecuniary benefits from unscrupulous politicians, who are bent on running this country aground. They should do more to alleviate the sufferings of the masses and quit acting as though they are exempt from the predicament that we are in today. |

ElevationD: May God rest the soul of Distinguished Sen. Patrick Ifeanyi Uba, Ebubechukwuzo Nnewi. He represented my Senatorial zone, Anambra South in the National Assembly. Secondly, I like what you wrote about him not being among the topmost political figures from Anambra, either historically or in the contemporary times. Ofcourse, there were/are the likes of Dr. Joy Emordi; Sen. Lilian Uche Ekwunife; Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife; Dr. Nwafor Orizu; Chief Willy Mmaduaburochukwu Obiano; Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo; Sen. Victor Umeh; Dr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju; Chief Chris Azubogu; Dr. Ben Nwankwo etc, in addition to the names you listed. Late Sen. Ifeanyi Uba unique bullish style of politics made him really popular...but men dey o wey am well well, in not just politics but in all ramifications. I guess that was your point. Fact is, he has made his own impact. It is really sad that he died so soon. He was still quite young. However, death has nothing to do with anything else. It comes when it comes. May God comfort his family, and indeed Ndi Anambra ni'le. 1 Like |

mrvitalis: Not true! Lets have your analysis. Do the pipelines automatically translate to power supply? Besides, projects are ongoing in nearly every sector. That CNG pipelines haven't started does not mean that that the government isn't doing well. When should the government be built? |

SoNature: Influence doesn't win elections. The North, especially the Northwest is central to winning elections in Nigeria. Take it or leave it! In 2015, we said that Jonathan was gone but many cursed us. With how difficult things are today, it is so easy to turn anyone against Tinubu. Southern presidency has always been worse off for Nigerians. Buhari, as 'bad' as people claim he was, managed petrol cost at less than N250 until he left office. Today petrol sells for over N700, in just slightly over a year since Buhari left office. With the way things are today, people are beginning to careless whether the presidency is occupied by someone from the North or South. They just want respite. Cost of food items have gone incredibly high. People are lamenting. It doesn't matter who anyone ed in the last election. We've moved past that stage. 2 Likes 1 Share |

castrokins: Bro, you are getting it wrong. What Finidi was alleged to have said was said in a closed door meeting with the Sports Minister and NFF. It was not said 'in public' like in the sense that you painted. Osimhen reacted based on what he was told the Coach allegedly said in a meeting. Not that he heard Finidi saying it directly. No matter how we look at this, Osimhen was wrong. He should not have relied on what he was told or what he read his Coach said. He could have reached out to Finidi, respectfully to tell him what he heard. It is that simple! Nigerians and our yeye way of judging matters...Dem go dey am now until dem ruin am. That's Nigerians for you. Once person get money, dem no dey fit tell am say e dey wrong. Money worshippers! Finidi too no dey hungry. Osimhen was wrong, totally. |

Seagodess: You called a mature adult unwise because he made his position on a matter. Anyway, i do not think that he is unwise. What happens to taking the money and praying for himself? Will God refuse to answer his prayers because they aren't coming from Adeboye on his behalf? As for me, if he chose Adeboye's prayer over the money, that would be idolatry, because he does not need Adeboye to have access to God. |

castrokins: There was nothing wrong if Finidi said that. In reality, players are supposed to, on their own, demonstrate palpable commitment and enthusiasm to play for their countries. If players are showing lack of willingness to play for their country, what do you expect the coach to do? It is difficult to manage a player who you had to convince (or even beg) to play. |

I am sure you are a bastard. You don't know your father. All over the world, sportsmen from all sectors of sports are rated using varied parameters. It is a standard. Era or no era. You must be brainless not to have known this. Osimhen is no match for Finidi. I'd say it anywhere. Who cares the nonsense you talk about era? Abirun!! |
