Truly, some people ought not to be parents, but that said for us to properly heal and be the best version of ourselves is to show and radiate love towards them.

My father did and I did, and it took me years to accept and love him, years as in I started the whole process from my teenage years.

Now I love him so very much, hug him and tell him how much I love him and we talk a lot and I have learnt a whole lot from him

My mum, hasn't forgiven him for what he made her and we the children go through, I try my best to do what I can to make her let go. It's well.

Some of our parents came from broken homes themselves and never know or experienced what responsibility, love and care

So sorry about what you are going through. Since you said she has a psychiatric issue did you also tell the doctors about this other aspect of laziness so that they can also fix her dates to see a psychologist.

They have several behavioral therapy sessions that will aid to improve her. This will be seen in all aspects of her life cleanliness, ability to take up responsibility no matter how small etc.


It's going to be a gradual process but she will get there at the end.

Do tell her psychiatrist all the other aspects of her that affects the family so that they can fix appointments with her to regularly see a psychologist.
