CoronaVirusPro:you are talking rubbish ooo. Back in those days there was no sophisticated surveillance so guys used to move plane loads of cocaine and ship loads. That's when legends were made. You can't make that kind of money again because of satellite cameras everywhere and more sophisticated surveillance. Those days legends were made because they made more money than governments and even sponsored governments eg al Capone in Chicago had the whole Chicago government in his pocket. You think you can make that kind of money today ? Impossible. The days of rich druglords are over now. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Between hard drug and porn, I wonder which one is more lucrative $ in the USA. Both however are roads to no return. |

NNtv: Medellin cartel of Joachim Guzman beat him hand down. |
Difrent: 9:54am On Jun 12 |
HEAVEN4444: But then also, the demand was not as much as today. Yes there was less surveillance and all but the money they make these days make Escobar money look like chicken change |

Difrent:lol you are crazy bro, there are less drug s today because the world is now global and everybody is plugged in and trying to better themselves. Before the internet era in America you would have whole states full of drug addicts. Millions of drug addicts in one state in America. It was an epidemic. It's like the whole America was hooked on drugs. That's the global market, America where people can afford to buy the drugs. Do you see that today ? Come on bro try talk with sense. 2 Likes |

franugo: Not really. There are lots of bad people that lived to a ripe old age, and lots of good people that died young. We have to police and root out the bad eggs, karma won't do it for us. |

HEAVEN4444: Isn't drugs still a pandemic in America? No come dey play righteousness game here, that's a drugged up society. Even Elon, worlds richest man dey on drugs, Trump himself confirmed it. 1 Like 1 Share |

Difrent:no drugs are no longer a pandemic. Right now it's prescription pills that people are getting high on. Fentanyl etc. cocaine and heroine is not trending again. The things people get high on now they can buy from pharmacy 3 Likes |

SouthSouth1914: You were making sense until you mentioned the emboldened. That's totally false. What makes something useful is the value it offers. Your drug money isn't bigger than oil and tech money because those two offer intrinsic value. What makes drug cartels rich is that governments around the world outlawed that business because it's a recreational drug that has damaging impacts on people. The day governments decide to lift the ban on it and start taxing people who do such businesses, you will realise how useless it is. For crying out loud, cocaine is made from ordinary plant leaves. 2 Likes |

HEAVEN4444: Who told you that there are less drug s today ? lol I do not agree with you bro. It’s easier to get drugs off the internet via the dark web using crypto, without stepping outside the confines of your environment. Go watch the documentary on “Silk Road”. |
HEAVEN4444: 10:20am On Jun 12 |
ecomalchemisttt:those are pills not drugs. Bro there are no cocaine or heroine addicts in America today like in the seventies and eighties. They had to create a WAR ON DRUGS unit back then. Right now people just popping pills they buy from pharmacy. You must be real young |

crossbreedwears:he wanted to pay off u.s debt..Yet couldnt continue paying $60m per month to the pilot. It was actually Columbia's debt he offered to pay off not U.S...Escobar was stinking rich no doubt. But the real boss was "Roberto Suarez Gomez" from Bolivia. |
HEAVEN4444: 10:24am On Jun 12 |
Difrent:well Pablo Escobar is not shipping pills globally. The drugs people use today they can buy in pharmacy. Fentanyl etc. the drugs of the past ? Had to be shipped in by Pablo aka cocaine and heroine. The premise of the argument was on if druglords are richer today or in the past. We know the drugs used today are all manufactured in labs in america and so it's common sense that the activity of druglords is obsolete. 1 Like |

NNtv: I agree 100%> If we really think about it .... during that time cocaine was the drug of choice for the rich and it was very expensive at the time. There were not many suppliers so the proceeds went to pretty much a few people like Escobar. Today there are many other drugs available from hundreds of suppliers and it is more difficult to transport and distribute coke without being caught. But in of making profits off of addictive drugs period ... the pharmaceutical corporations are tops ...the modern day drug cartels. |
